"I look like I have taken 10 years off my age! I look like a rested, more youthful version of myself " -D. Mason
Restylane has been used since 1996 in over 60 countries. Restylane is used to restore volume and fullness to the skin, to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds. The most commonly observed side effects were temporary redness and swelling at the injection site, which typically resolve in less than seven days. Avoid exposure of the treated area to excessive sun and UV lamp exposure and extreme cold weather until any initial swelling and redness has resolved. Safety has not been established for use during pregnancy, when breast-feeding, or in patients under 18 years.
Restylane was FDA-approved for use in the U.S in 2003.
Restylane is now available in 0.4ml and 1.0ml.
